Nassau Legislature set to approve 2 district court appointments

Nassau’s Republican-controlled legislature is expected to approve two district court judge appointments on Monday.

County Executive Edward Mangano, a Republican, has nominated Republicans Joy Watson of Hempstead to a vacancy on the 2nd District Court bench in Hempstead, and David Sullivan to an empty seat in 3rd District Court in North Hempstead.
