Nassau public retirees: 26 of 100 largest NYS pensions
Retiring from Nassau County government can be a very good thing.
Of the state’s 100 largest annual pensions, 26 are paid to retired Nassau employees – the most money paid to Long Islanders being Robert M. Newbert’s $176,550, according to the Empire Center for New York State Policy.
Empire’s searchable database includes 342,543 retirees.
