Romney in new wealthy-donor tape flap

It doesn't take much of a stretch to conclude from presidential candidate Mitt Romney's statements, caught on tape talking to potential donors, that he's writing off 47 percent of the American electorate as dependent on government and unable to fend for themselves. Writing off nearly half of voters with a generalization like that -- including millions who pay taxes out of their paychecks to the federal government but have no further income tax liability at year's end -- could be bad for any presidential candidate.  Those "entitled" to food and housing are with Obama, Romney says.
