Slur interrupts debate over Nassau's Living Wage

Nassau Legis. Kevan Abrahams (D-Hempstead) was steamed Monday over the way Presiding Officer Peter Schmitt (R-Massapequa) was running the legislative meeting, complaining he was not allowing full discussion of a proposal to nix a $1 increase in the county's Living Wage law.
Then Abrahams muttered a slur .
