State takeover of upgrades at JFK, LaGuardia?

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo hinted Tuesday that his State of the State address on Wednesday will include something about upgrades at New York airports.

A source says it will focus on the state taking over projects at LaGuardia and JFK airports.

It might make a splash among political types. But customers will be more concerned about whether the JetBlue delays will continue than whether the state or the Port Authority is calling the shots.
