Suffolk: Controversial Levy campaign fund finally dissolved
Steve Levy’s $4 million campaign fund is finally no more.
Suffolk District Attorney Thomas Spota’s office has doled out the remaining $865,000 that went unclaimed from former donors to 33 non-profit groups and charities who applied for funds. Levy turn over his campaign fund to Spota last year to end a probe of his fundraising.
