Suffolk GOP chair says a challenge doesn't worry him

John Jay Lavalle, Suffok Republican chairman, said he is not worried about a possible challenge from Islip GOP chairman Frank Tantone over county leadership.

The party leader said he has sewed up support from all of Suffolk's town GOP's, expect Islip.

“I don’t think he has any support out there,” LaValle said of Tantone. “I think his selfish desires and reality are two different things. I expect to get elected.”
