Suffolk lawmaker gets his teeth into a nickname
Just call him “The Bulldog.”
No, really, he wants you to.
The office of John Kennedy, the Nesconset Republican who leads the Suffolk Legislature’s minority caucus, issued a news release last week touting some of the lawmaker’s recent accomplishments. In it, Kennedy is referred to as “the Bulldog,” (proper noun) five times in six paragraphs. “The Bulldog was able to get paving done on Townline Road in Commack...” began one sentence.
Will the name stick? Perhaps, if Kennedy’s staff keeps repeating it with, yes, a bulldog’s tenacity.
