Tom Suozzi is looking for interns to spend the spring and summer helping him campaign for Nassau County executive.

Suozzi, a former county executive seeking his old office, posted a notice on his social media accounts seeking applicants for spring and summer internships.

"The campaign is looking for interns to assist with field, finance, communications, research, data, and political work," the notice said. "Interns are expected to be trustworthy, have an interest in politics and strong levels of self-motivation."

Suozzi will compete in a primary this September with Roslyn businessman Adam Haber for the Democratic nomination. The winner will challenge Republican County Executive Edward Mangano in November.
