Thomas Suozzi and Adam Haber, the two Democratic candidates for Nassau County executive, face off in their first televised debate, a 30-minute forum aired live on News 12 Long Island and hosted by Lea Tyrrell.

Suozzi and Haber also squared off in a debate on Friday in Lakeview, although that event was not televised. Haber had originally requested 18 debates leading up to the Sept. 10 Democratic primary, but Tuesday’s event is expected to be the final debate between the two candidates.

The winner will take on Republican County Executive Edward Mangano.
