AG subpoenas 7 Nassau offices as Sandy probe continues

The state attorney general’s office served subpoenas Tuesday to the office of Nassau County Executive Edward Mangano and six other county agencies amid the ongoing probe into debris-removal contracts related to superstorm Sandy, a law enforcement source said.

New York will send troopers this weekend to the Long Island Marathon to assist Nassau County with security, the Cuomo administration said Friday.

Nassau County’s lawyers are squabbling over who has the right to ask for a legal opinion from the state attorney general’s office.
