Philip Boyle is one of three Republican Senate candidates who will get a last-minute hand from a prominent real-estate group.
The New York State Association of Realtors reported receiving a $274,000 cash infusion from its national affiliate less than two weeks before Election Day. The state chapter will reportedly spend it on behalf of Boyle – who faces Democrat Ricardo Montano in a Suffolk County-based contest – and GOP candidates in Rochester and Buffalo.
Through Oct. 5, other realty groups had directly donated more than $150,000 to Boyle as he built a huge cash advantage over his opponent.
