Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo will be among those attending Billy Joel's final show at the Nassau Coliseum Tuesday night, the governor's office announced.
The two are good pals -- the governor officiated Joel's marriage to Alexis Roderick on July 4 at the pop star's Centre Island estate. Also, Joel has performed at Cuomo fundraisers and added star power to events held by the governor over the last five years.
Joel's concert at the coliseum will be his 32nd at the venue, putting a punctuation mark on the arena's 43rd and final year before a massive renovation.
