Nassau County Executive candidate Adam Haber has released a two-minute Web video in which he introduces himself to voters and lays out his campaign agenda before the November elections.
In the video, Haber, a Roslyn School Board member and retired Wall Street futures trader, paints himself as a political outsider who can solve Nassau’s most vexing problems.
“He's not a politician and won’t think like one,” the ad explains.
The East Hills Democrat said he would invest in job creation, schools and the environment while holding the line on property taxes, cutting patronage jobs and eliminating government waste.
To demonstrate his ability as a problem solver, the video shows Haber fitting dozens of household items into a small space in the back of a van.
Haber is challenging former Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi for the Democratic nomination. The winner will take on Republican County Executive Edward Mangano.
Suozzi has held several town hall meetings but so far has done no mailings or ads.
