Assemb. Philip Ramos (D-Central Islip) fired back at Suffolk Legis. Thomas Cilmi Tuesday over the Albany lamwaker's efforts to recommend a new trustee of Suffolk Community College.

Ramos said Cilmi had “incredible arrogance and sense of entitlement” to feel he had the right to recommend a trustee for appointment while claiming the state lawmaker did not.
“I’ve recomended an extremely qualified woman. What does Legis. Cilmi think is political about that?” Ramos said.

Ramos supports Theresa Sanders of the Urban League of Long Island, while Cilmi backs Belinda Alvarez Groneman a Republican currently on the board.
