Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will address Long Island business leaders Friday at a forum in Woodbury, according to the Long Island Association.

The business group said more than 1,000 are expected to attend the luncheon event at Crest Hollow Country Club. It will be closed to the media.

The LIA said Clinton — widely considered a Democratic contender for the 2016 presidential nomination — will "in a conversational style interview with LIA president & chief executive Kevin Law . . . engage in a timely discussion on the critical issues confronting our country today."

“Hillary Clinton is one of the most important and influential leaders in our country and also a friend of Long Island. As First Lady, then as United States Senator and most recently as Secretary of State, she has left an indelible mark on our nation and our region,” Law said in a statement. “We are honored to have Secretary Clinton join us for a discussion about today’s pressing domestic and international issues and how we can work together to grow our economy and create jobs.”
