Nystrom, who federal and state campaign finance records indicate has never before donated to political candidates, famously scored the winning goal in overtime in Game 6 of the 1980 Stanley Cup finals to clinch the Isles' first NHL championship. He was born in Sweden and raised in Western Canada.

The $750-per-person event is set to take place at Holbrook's Future Tech Enterprises. Bob Venero, the company CEO and founder, is listed as a co-sponsor.
