Suffolk County Executive Steve Levy may haved labeled his some of his college professors communists, but his former high school goverment teacher Jerry Kane said Levy himself was an “extreme liberal” as a teen.

“I used to call him my left wing bedwetting libreral hump,” said Kane, who taught at Sachem High School for 25 years and now a Suffoolk Community College trustee.

In reaction, Levy said, “I always considered myself a moderate, but compared to Jerry who is to the right of Attila the Hun, I can see how he would have that perspective.”
