Nassau County Attorney John Ciampoli went on a more distant trip than just the Hudson Valley last week, off-hours, not to peep at leaves so much as act a political-election lawyer. He says he also attended a nighttime Conservative Party reorganization meeting, serving pro-bono, in Oneida County in Central New York, and was due to stop in Albany en route back to Long Island.
