The new clerk of the Nassau County Legislature is William J. Muller III, a resident of East Rockaway.

Muller, 38, gets a salary of $109,200 in his new post, a nice raise from the $83,500 he got as a deputy town attorney for the Republican-run Town of Hempstead.
