Voutsinas, 40, of Freeport, earlier served as an assistant town attorney in North Hempstead and as deputy majority counsel to the Nassau Legislature. In 2006 she was president of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association.

A spokesman for Nassau Republicans say they are still reviewing potential contenders and will make a decision shortly.
