State Assembly candidate Michaelle Solages scored the endorsement of a fellow Democrat Wednesday: Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo.
In a statement released by the Solages campaign, the governor said: “Michaelle will be my strong partner in providing tax relief for Nassau’s families.”
Solages is facing Republican candidate Sean Wright to represent a newly created Assembly district in western Nassau County.
The district, created earlier this year during the decennial redistricting process, covers Bellerose, Elmont, Valley Stream and North Woodmere, among other areas.
