Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo likes it cold.

Windows were left open in the Capitol's War Room, site of the inauguration, throughout the night at Cuomo's behest, a building operations official told Newsday. The new governor famously likes to work in cold rooms.

The windows were closed Saturday morning but adjacent doors were opened. Some guests were visibly shivering and others wore heavy coats.
