The chairman of the Nassau County Planning Commission briefly interrupted the panel’s final meeting of the year on Thursday to say a few words to county Legis. Roger Corbin, who lost his bid for another term.

Corbin, a Westbury Democrat awaiting trial on federal tax charges, had stopped by the commission’s meeting and was talking with staffers on the side of the room.

Corbin waved and was gone.
