The Hollywood Reporter says that movie moguls raised $600,000 for Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo at a fund-raiser Thursday.

The Reporter says: "About 150 people -- who paid between $5,000 and $25,000 to attend the event -- stood under heaters as Cuomo boasted about his state's tax credit program for movie and TV production, saying he hopes to lure more filming to New York."

Two other notables: Cuomo surprised the audience by "trash talking" former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer; and one executive said Cuomo is his "second pick" behind Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nominee in 2016.
