There’s a report that AG candidate Kathleen Rice will get the support of Emily’s List, the national PAC that promotes pro-choice female candidates.

The blog City Hall News reported the endorsement Thursday morning and included a quote from Rice, currently the Nassau DA:

“At a time when many progressive organizations choose not to pick sides in a Democratic primary, I’m proud that EMILY’s List is endorsing me early in my bid for Attorney General,” Rice said in a statement. “And if we’re successful, EMILY’s List and I will be making history, giving New York its first female attorney general. The significance of this endorsement is not lost on me, and I am humbled to be its recipient.”

No word yet from the Rice campaign.
