In that make-or-break upstate Senate vote count, we’re hearing  that that day opened with 1,840 pieces of paper processed Monday and Republican Assemb. George Amedore’s lead shrank from 920 to 715 overall over Democrat Cecilia Tkaczyk. There are perhaps 300 or so ballots that have been challenged. An estimated 2,200 or so ballots had stil lto be gone over.
