Southold trustee Michael Domino says he was a victim of “verbal harassment” after a town hall meeting on proposed changes to the housing code from Democratic town board member Steve Fiore Rosenfeld.

Domino, reached late last week, said Fiore Rosenfeld’s rant lasted from outside the second-floor meeting room down the stairs. “He followed us out of the meeting and it went down hill from there,” said Domino. “I kept telling him he had to calm down.” The Democratic official's tirade, according to town sources, was caught on security cameras and it continued outside the building until town security guards stepped in.

What made the incident more embarrassing was that Domino was accompanied at the meeting by his wife and son.

After calls to his town office and law office, a town spokesman said that Fiore Rosenfeld was unavailable for comment.
