The state comptroller’s office released 47 pages of documents Wednesday related to the sexual harassment allegations against Assemb. Vito Lopez and the subsequent $135,000 settlement.
The documents, obtained by Newsday through a Freedom of Information request, show that comptroller attorneys wrote two paragraphs in the final settlement. They were technical in nature, dealing with tax implications and pre-audit requirements.
