Sen. Lee Zeldin (R-Shirley) announced Wednesday he’s launched a new political-action committee designed to elect “free market, fiscally conservative candidates … to state and local positions throughout New York.”
He dubbed the entity “Next Generation Leadership NY” and transferred $50,000 from his own campaign coffers to get it started. The freshman senator said he and his campaign team will help candidates with door-to-door efforts, and media and social-network outreach – as well as providing donations.
The PAC “will support candidates committed to improving the business climate of New York State,” Zeldin said in a statement.
