Rocky Point woman dies after being hit crossing street
A 75-year-old Rocky Point woman was fatally struck by a car as she crossed Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station Wednesday evening, police said.
Joan Lyons was transported to Stony Brook University Medical Center were she died about two hours after the accident.
