HBO 'Girls' costume designer to style Aerie intimates
They may not strut around in Manolos like Carrie Bradshaw or have Samantha Jones' sex appeal, but everyone wants a piece of this generation's fab four — Hannah, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna of HBO's "Girls."
That's why Aerie, American Eagle's intimates-focused sister line, has called on the show's costume designer Jenn Rogien to be their new style and fit expert.
“[Aerie's] intimates are always fresh, pretty and fit impeccably," Rogien said in a release. "I love that aerie is about real girls who are wearing fun undies as a part of their everyday wardrobe, to the point where it becomes a must-have accessory. Those intimates have helped me tell the stories of real girls, pretty girls and fun girls."
Rogien, who was also the 2012 Style Awards' TV Costume Designer of the Year, will spend six months filming videos, making in-store appearances, offering fit sessions and giving style tips to the real girls who wear aerie bras, underwear, apparel and swimwear.
