Storm creates flooding, erosion on South Shore
Atlantic storm surges caused significant erosion on the South Shore, closing fishing areas at Robert Moses State Park and Montauk Point, State Parks spokesman George Gorman said Sunday.
The swells pushed ocean water up to the sand dunes at Robert Moses, leaving the entire beach under water in some parts of the park.
