Strangled newlywed husband had a criminal record
A Merrick man who was killed when, police say, his new wife strangled him with an electrical cord, had a criminal record and served time in prison for several felonies.
Friday, police were still trying to establish why Kelly Forbes, 29, allegedly killed her husband of three months, Michael Forbes, 50, Wednesday morning in their Merrick home.
