Stratford considering renaming road

Nearly 2,000 people have indicated that they'd support a name change in honor of Victoria Soto.

STRATFORD - Stratford officials are considering changing the name of a street to honor one of the teachers killed in Newtown.

Victoria Soto graduated from Stratford High School.

Thousands of residents have signed a petition to rename North Parade Street, which runs in front of the high school, to Victoria Soto Way.

The town council is expected to discuss the street naming next week.
