Students put spotlight on recycling at 'Trashion Night'
"Trashion Night," sponsored by North Hempstead Town, showcased apparel and accessories crafted by elementary, middle and high school students from recycled materials, such as Capri Sun packages and place mats. The event was held on at the "Yes We Can" Community Center in New Cassel, which was staged as a runway.
