Subway crime drops
Subway crime has dropped 14 percent this year, the NYPD said.
Crimes committed in the transit system are down to just six a day, compared to 48 per day in 1990 and 10 per day in 2000.
Crime is dropping even as the subway ridership has reached new records, police said.
