Suffolk County police late Sunday were searching for two men who had attempted an armed robbery earlier in the day of a Huntington Station check-cashing store.
The two men -- at least one of whom had a handgun -- entered the RIA check-cashing store on New York Avenue at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday and demanded cash from a teller, police said.
