Bellone unveils Suffolk water strategies

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, unveiled a new plan that targets three Suffolk areas that have a significant impact on the nitrogen level of water flowing into Great South Bay, due to their proximity to rivers. Bellone said that replacing septic tanks with sewers in these key areas will reduce the nitrogen output by 25 percent. (Credit: News 12 Long Island)
