Bellport stabbing suspect pleads not guilty
Robert Schiavo, a Medford man accused in the brutal stabbing death of a 61-year-old woman in Bellport, confessed to police that he "panicked and freaked out" and "started swinging the knife at her body over and over" during a botched burglary, according to court records.
"I stabbed her a lot," concluded the statement from Schiavo, 20, who pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder charges...
