Brookhaven Town Hall was evacuated due to a bomb threat for about an hour Tuesday afternoon, according to town officials.
Brookhaven Town Supervisor Ed Romaine said authorities told him a package was mailed to News 12 Long Island threatening to blow up Town Hall in Farmingville at 2:15 p.m.
