A budget shortfall has forced Guild Hall, one of the premiere cultural institutions in the Hamptons, to shut its doors and put its staff on a two-week unpaid furlough.
Last-minute donations will allow its gallery museum to stay open on weekends, but the John Drew Theater and its administrative offices are closed until Nov. 29 and from Dec. 24 to Jan. 3.
