City DA announces indictments in Lucchese crime enterprise
The Lucchese crime family ran gambling rings, trafficked firearms and even had six of their own working as inspectors for the city Department of Buildings, the Manhattan district attorney's office and the New York City police department said Thursday in announcing the indictments of 29 people.
