Photo credit: SCPD | Suffolk Police are looking for Bennie Clay Jr., 82, of 228 42nd Street in Copiague, who left his home on Monday and has not contacted friends or family since. Clay suffers from early stages of dementia, police said.

An 82-year-old man who is in the early stages of dementia was finally reunited with his family Tuesday after going missing Monday morning, Suffolk police said.

Police said Bennie Clay Jr., left the house at 228 42nd St., Copiague, in a 2004 black Lincoln Town Car and did not let friends or family know of his whereabouts.
