Five Garden City men rode around in a car early Thursday, throwing eggs at other vehicles on the Southern State and Sagtikos parkways in central Suffolk County, State Police said.

The five were arrested shortly after midnight on the Northern State Parkway, west of the Sagtikos, on charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor, after troopers from the Brentwood barracks responded to several reports of people in a black Dodge Dart throwing objects.

The arrested were Joseph Eigl, 17; Jonathan Taylor, 21; Steven Taylor, 18; Brian Taylor, 18; and Nicholas Dimmling, 17.
