Cops: Brentwood man recorded women in restroom

A Brentwood man was arrested Monday, after he secretly recorded female employees in a photography studio bathroom, Suffolk police said.

William Iglesias, 39, of 56 Bushwick Ave., who owns the photography studio in Brentwood, was charged with felony unlawful surveillance. He was being held overnight at the Third Precinct and was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip Tuesday, police said in a news release.

A 24-year-old female employee of Foto Y Video Alexander, at 1114 Suffolk Ave. in Brentwood, discovered images of herself on her boss' computer. The images were captured without her knowledge while she was in the studio's bathroom, police said.

Suffolk County Third Squad detectives discovered a remote recording device hidden in the business' bathroom. Recordings of another employee, a 19-year-old woman, also were discovered, police said.
