Cops: Brentwood stabbing suspects linked to crimes

Aguilar, 18, of Deer Park, pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder in the July 20 slaying of Edgar Villalobos. Amaya, 20, of Central Islip, and Ortiz, 19, of Brentwood, also pleaded not guilty to killing Villalobos. The DA said Amaya was the one who stabbed Villalobos, while Ortiz was the driver and later went back to the scene "and made sure he was dead by kicking him." Aguilar held Villalobos down during the attack, the DA said.
Three men face charges in the stabbing death this week of a Bay Shore man, Suffolk police said Thursday, with one also accused of shooting a teen last month and seriously injuring him, and another charged with killing a man in May.
