Police on Monday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the disappearance of a Commack man who recently had a liver transplant.

Sayed David Asghari, 25, was reported missing three days ago, after leaving his Fairfield Way home at 3:30 p.m., Suffolk police said.

"He left without taking his required medication including his antirejection medication," a Monday news release said.
