A 40-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he rear-ended another car on Sunrise Highway, sending a man and 7-year-old boy to the hospital, police said.

Suffolk County police said the crash occurred on Sunrise Highway in Lindenhurst at about 8 p.m. Sunday.

Police said the man and the boy in the car that was struck were both taken to Good Samaritan...
