Cops: Man asking for change robs Oakdale cashier
He asked for change of a $5 bill.
But when the cashier at the Waldbaum's supermarket on Sunrise Highway in Oakdale opened the register to make change, the man reached over, grabbed a handful of bills - and ran.
Suffolk County police are searching for the man and are asking for the public's help.
